How many days do I need?

How long it takes in Thailand depends on the breadth and depth of your visit. The lengths of our Thailand tours are concentrated in 6-14 days, with activities, accommodation, and meals arranged for every day. Normally one week is enough to explore some of the best places in Thailand, like Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai, and Phuket, but if you are planning a journey from north to south, or prefer some more days for relaxing on the beaches, a two-week journey would be better.

Can I combine Thailand with another country?

How can I obtain my visa to Thailand?

Under normal circumstances, tourists who come from visa-exempt countries such as America, British, Canada, Australia, etc. can enter Thailand without a visa to stay not over 30 days. However, if you're not from a visa-exempt country or need to stay longer, you need to obtain a tourist visa. Documents required: 1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months. 2. Photograph of the applicant, taken within the past six months. 3. Evidence of travel from Thailand (air ticket paid in full). 4. Evidence of adequate finance (20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family). * Please check the relevant embassy/ consulate's website for specific required documents.

Is it a common practice to give tips in Thailand?

Tipping is not mandatory while traveling in Thailand. But considered as a gesture of appreciation for good service, it is certainly welcome. Based on your satisfaction with the tour, you may tip your guide and driver before they wish you farewell as appreciation. Suggested tips are USD 5-10 per traveler per day as tips for the guide, USD 4-6 per traveler per day as tips for the driver, and USD 2 as tips for the hotel and restaurant waitress. However, you may pay more or less depending on their services.

Is it common to use credit cards in Thailand?

Credit cards are widely accepted in Thailand, especially in tourist areas. In most hotels, shopping malls, and restaurants, you can freely use MasterCard or Visa for purchasing. When traveling to some rural areas and at small shops or stalls, taking some small notes with you is highly recommended as cash is more welcomed.

Can I take pictures of the people, streets, during my tour?

Yes, street and people photography are allowed in Thailand. But you should always show your politeness and respect. Remember to ask permission first before you take pictures of others and notice the signboards in some military and religious places, or museums.

How should I dress?

Thailand's climate is characterized by high temperatures and humidity throughout the year. So, the first dress tip is to bring some clothes that are loose, breathable, and lightweight. Besides, Thai culture promotes a relatively conservative dress in public, especially at religious sites. With these in mind, you just need to pack clothes that stay cool, casual, and respectful.

Is there any special advice for women travelers while visiting Thailand?

While traveling on a private tour with us, you are guaranteed a hassle-free time with a personal guide and driver. For your own leisure time, it is suggested: 1. Avoid walking alone at night, either in the city or beach. 2. Dress conservatively and avoid revealing clothes. 3. Don't wear glittering jewelry out on the street. 4. Always keep your valuables with you. 5. When you're in a bar, keep your eyes on your drinks and don't accept any drinks from strangers. 6. Wear appropriate clothing that covers your shoulders and knees when visiting temples and royal buildings.
